Kiki Tostadas Recipe | Gourmet Seed Crackers Made Easy

Looking for an easy entertaining recipe that will impress your guests? These Kiki Tostadas are the perfect crowd-pleasing appetiser. Made using award-winning Kiki seed crackers, they are quick to assemble, full of flavour, and ideal for platters, parties, or festive gatherings.

First introduced to us one Christmas by Charlotte, this recipe has been a winner ever since. Simple, fresh ingredients come together beautifully on a crunchy gourmet seed cracker base.


Ingredients

Wasabi Mayo

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tsp wasabi paste

  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice

Toppings

  • Avocado, sliced

  • Cherry tomatoes (or 1 regular tomato), finely chopped

  • Protein of choice:

    • Tuna

    • Smoked salmon

    • Prawns

    • Tofu (small chunks)

Optional marinade for fresh tuna:
Soya sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and lime juice

  • Red onion (fresh or pickled), thinly sliced

Garnish

  • Toasted sesame seeds

  • Fresh herbs (coriander or basil)


Method

  1. Break Kiki seed crackers into bite-sized pieces (approximately 5cm x 6cm).

  2. Add a dollop of wasabi mayo to each cracker.

  3. Top with sliced avocado and chopped tomato.

  4. Add your chosen protein.

  5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

  6. Finish with red onion and fresh herbs.

Serve immediately on a platter and enjoy.
